Ethical Prison Architecture: A Systematic Literature Review of Prison Design Features Related to Wellbeing

The design of prisons can greatly impact the lived experience imprisonment, yet research on relationship between physical prison environment and wellbeing remains underexplored. Following a systematic literature review, 16 environmental domains were identified as part “ethical architecture” in environments.
